Informationen
Mit dem Tool "Gesundheitsregionen" können Sie auf einen Blick die Situation eines Landkreises in Bezug auf die Struktur der Region, der Bevölkerung und der vorhandenen Versorgung erfassen. Dabei kann zwischen dem Vergleich zum Bundesland oder zu Deutschland gewählt werden. Diese Informationen helfen den Bedarf und das Gesundheitsangebot in einer Region schnell zu erfassen.

Handelt es sich z. B. um einen großen, dünnbesiedelten Landkreis, bei dem der erwartete Bevölkerungsrückgang die ohnehin schon dünne Hausarztdichte in Zukunft eher noch verschärfen wird, dann ist es sinnvoll, bereits früh nach innovativen Lösungen zu suchen.

Das Tool ist für die strategische Einzelentscheidung von Ärzten hinsichtlich einer Niederlassung oder Kooperation ebenso wichtig wie für die Unterstützung regionaler Gesundheitsprogramme.

Rot/Grün
Der grüne Balken indiziert den jeweiligen Wert von links aus aufgetragen, d.h. je länger der grüne Balken, umso besser das Ergebnis.

Quintile
Jede Größe wurde in fünf gleich große Gruppen von Landkreisen eingeteilt (Quintile). Ein Abschnitt repräsentiert somit immer eine Häufigkeit von 20%. Der kleinste bzw. größte Wert der jeweiligen Gruppe bildet die Begrenzung.

Median
Der im Balken markierte Wert ist der Median, d.h. 50% aller Messwerte liegen darunter bzw. darüber. Somit stellt die Eingruppierung eine Art Benchmark dar, sie setzt die Situation des jeweiligen Kreises ins Verhältnis zu den anderen Kreisen.
